iQOO launched the Neo11 in China last October, and now the company appears to be developing a new variant of this device, tentatively named the Neo11s or Neo11 SE. For clarity, we will refer to it as the Neo11s.
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, this phone will be equipped with an underclocked version of the Dimensity 9500 SoC. Although this variant features CPU cores that are clocked lower than the standard Dimensity 9500, it is expected to offer 'decent' performance, likely surpassing that of the Dimensity 9500s.
iQOO Neo11It seems iQOO has a partnership with MediaTek to utilize lower bin chips for cost efficiency. The Neo11s is rumored to feature a flat screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and '2K' resolution, alongside an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Its battery capacity is expected to start with an '8', indicating it will fall between 8,000 mAh and 8,999 mAh.
The device will also boast IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It aims to compete against the performance of more affordable smartphones, promising more value than its price point suggests. The iQOO Neo11s is tentatively scheduled for release sometime this summer.
