Tecno has expanded its Slim series with the introduction of the Camon Slim. While it shares some specifications and design elements with the Pova Slim and Spark Slim, it stands out on its own.
Notably, the Camon Slim is more stylish, featuring a curved unibody design that measures just 6.39mm. It comes in five distinct finishes. Among them, the New Mondrian showcases a unique take on the famous Mondrian pattern with a photochromic finish; under ultraviolet light, vibrant blocks in yellow, green, and cyan become visible on the back.
In addition to this, the device is available in Prism Black and Jungle Green, characterized by a 3D crystal diamond pattern. The Van Gogh Blue variant includes a beautiful depiction of Starry Night on its back, combined with a matte texture.
The Camon Slim is rated IP68 and IP69, ensuring durability against dust and water exposure.
On the specifications front, the Camon Slim boasts a 6.78-inch display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 1224x2720 pixels. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G200 SoC, supported by 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. The device packs a robust 5,600mAh battery with 60W charging capabilities.
For photography enthusiasts, the Camon Slim features a primary camera that comprises a 50MP Lytia 600 sensor (1/2") along with a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
Additionally, there is a clever LED panel situated between the two lenses on the camera island at the back. This panel houses 354 LEDs and is programmed with 55 unique lighting scenes for enhanced photography experiences. A quick video demo will showcase its functionality.
