We recently had the opportunity to take a closer look at the new Reno15 series during Oppo's global launch event. This review focuses on the Indian variant of the Reno15 Pro, which is marketed as the Reno15 Pro Max in certain markets.
To clarify, the Indian Reno15 Pro features a 6.78-inch display, while the Indian Reno15 Pro Mini, which has a 6.32-inch screen, is simply known as the Reno15 Pro outside of India.
In India, the lineup includes the Reno15 Pro Mini on the left (referred to as Reno15 Pro elsewhere), the Reno15 in the middle, and the Reno15 Pro (known as Reno15 Pro Max internationally) on the right.

The Reno15 and Reno15 Pro Mini models showcase a unique textured back that reflects light beautifully. In contrast, the Reno15 Pro features a sleek matte finish that not only feels pleasant but is also resistant to smudges and fingerprints.
The Reno15 Pro is equipped with an impressive array of cameras: a 24mm f/1.8 wide-angle lens with a 200MP sensor, an 85mm (3.5x) f/2.8 telephoto lens with a 50MP sensor, and a 50MP sensor positioned behind a 16mm f/2.0 ultrawide lens with autofocus. For selfies, there's also a 50MP front camera with an 18mm f/2.0 lens.
In terms of design, the camera module integrates a 1.8mm AG glass island that merges seamlessly with the rear panel. Dubbed 'sculpted glass' by Oppo, it features various finishes that create stunning reflections. The square ring surrounding the camera module is designed to give off a soft glow, imparting a distinctive flair to the device.
Reno15 Pro cameras
The display on the Indian Pro is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1272x2772 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, reaching a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.
The phone is well-built, feeling solid yet surprisingly lightweight at just 7.65mm thick and weighing 205g.
On the specifications front, the Reno15 Pro (or Pro Max in other regions) is powered by a 4nm Dimensity 8450 chipset with options for up to 12GB of RAM. Storage capacities include either 256GB or 512GB.
The pricing for the Reno15 Pro starts at INR 67,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, and INR 72,999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB variant.
