The iPhone Air surprised users with its reliable battery life given its design constraints, yet battery endurance remains a primary concern. Additionally, consumers have expressed dissatisfaction with its single-camera configuration.

iPhone Air 2 might come with improved battery life and camera

Fortunately, Apple seems poised to address these issues in the upcoming iPhone Air, according to recent reports.

A report from late December indicated that the iPhone Air will include a second camera, likely an ultrawide lens. Furthermore, a rumor from The Elec has surfaced regarding potential improvements to battery life. Insiders suggest that the iPhone Air 2 will utilize a new CoE display technology, expected to debut with this year's iPhone Fold, if it launches as anticipated.

The CoE technology allows for a thinner display package, enhancing sunlight readability and reducing battery consumption in bright environments. Consequently, the display requires less brightness to maintain the same level of visibility.

Additionally, a slimmer display could provide extra space for a larger battery, allowing Apple to optimize battery performance.

While these remain rumors, Apple is likely eager to rectify some of the shortcomings observed during the iPhone Air's initial launch.
