Honor has officially announced the launch date for its much-anticipated Magic8 series smartphone. Following a series of teasers, the company confirmed that the model will debut as the Magic8 Pro Air.
The smartphone is set to be unveiled in China on January 19. Recent leaks indicate that the Magic8 Pro Air will be 6.3mm thick and weigh approximately 155g.
Leaked images suggest that the Magic8 Pro Air will feature a triple rear camera setup within a pill-shaped module, reminiscent of the iPhone Air and Google’s recent Pixel camera visor. It is expected that the primary camera will be a 50MP sensor paired with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor.
While Honor has yet to confirm specific specifications, the device is available for pre-order in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage variants. It is anticipated to boast a 6.3-inch AMOLED display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, and a 5,500mAh silicon-carbon battery.
