Automakers are constantly striving to deliver more features at competitive prices, and XPeng has made a significant announcement with the launch of the updated 2026 XPeng P7+. The company describes this model as a global offering, set to hit international roads, including Europe, in the near future. The most notable aspect is its pricing; with a starting price of RMB 186,800 (approximately €22,800), it presents an aggressive entry into the market for a vehicle of its size and technological sophistication.
The refreshed XPeng P7+ maintains a liftback design and is a spacious vehicle, measuring 5071 mm in length, 1937 mm in width, and 1512 mm in height. The exterior has been subtly enhanced, with XPeng extending the car's length by 15 mm primarily through redesigned bumpers, while the wheelbase remains unchanged at 3000 mm, ensuring ample legroom for passengers. The P7+ rides on striking 20-inch wheels, with its front featuring a continuous LED light strip and chrome accents that lend it a premium appearance.

The interior of the P7+ is packed with luxury features, boasting a total of 104 upgrades for the 2026 model. The dashboard is adorned with wood trim and chrome accents, and at night, drivers can choose from 256 ambient lighting colors. Attention to detail is evident, as the glove box opens with a button instead of a handle, and the air vents are concealed for a sleek design. There is also a wireless charging pad upholstered in faux suede for added convenience.
Technology plays a pivotal role in modern vehicles, and the P7+ is no exception. Drivers are greeted by an 8.8-inch display behind the steering wheel, but less frequent glances will be necessary thanks to the impressive 29-inch Augmented Reality HUD, which projects speed and navigation data directly onto the windshield. The vehicle operates on a new system called AIOS 6.0, which includes updated animations and a unique "Driving Light" interface.

Under the hood, the P7+ is powered by advanced computing capabilities. The standard model comes equipped with two Nvidia Drive Orin chips, delivering 508 TOPS of computing power for its driver assistance systems. For those seeking more intelligence, the Ultra SE version is available for an additional RMB 12,000 (€1,464), which utilizes XPeng's proprietary Turing AI chips.
For even greater capability, customers can opt for the Ultra ADAS system, featuring three Turing AI chips for RMB 20,000 (€2,440). These systems support 'Vision Language Action,' enabling the AI to perceive its surroundings and make informed decisions.

Consumers have two main powertrain options. The new model features a 49.2 kWh battery paired with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that functions solely as a generator for charging the battery; the electric motor provides 180 kW (241 hp). Relying on battery power alone, the P7+ can achieve a range of up to 430 km. However, when combined with a full tank of gas, the total range reaches an impressive 1,550 km. The vehicle also supports rapid charging, with 5C technology allowing for up to 277 km of range in just five minutes.
Alternatively, the all-electric variant excludes the gasoline engine and offers two battery options: 61.7 kWh or 74.9 kWh, achieving a maximum range of 725 km under CLTC testing conditions. Buyers can select between a base motor producing 180 kW (241 hp) or a performance variant offering 230 kW (308 hp). With prices reaching a maximum of RMB 198,800 (€24,250), the 2026 XPeng P7+ provides a wealth of features and cutting-edge technology at a competitive price point.
