Redmi Turbo 5 Max: New Renders Reveal Exciting Design and Features

Source: Date:

The Redmi Turbo 5 series recently welcomed the introduction of the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which was officially announced earlier this month. The addition of the 'Max' suffix marks a new chapter for this line, which previously featured only the standard and Pro models.

Recent renders claiming to showcase the Redmi Turbo 5 Max have surfaced, but it is advisable to approach them with skepticism, as they appear to be AI-generated, and the reliability of the source is uncertain.

If these design images are accurate, it seems that Redmi is opting for a significantly different aesthetic compared to the Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro. While the phone retains two rear cameras like its predecessors, they are positioned horizontally within an oval camera module, rather than vertically.

In terms of design, the Turbo 5 Max features relatively slim bezels, a small hole-punch for the selfie camera, and button placements that follow the traditional Redmi layout. The curvature of the device also mirrors the iPhone-like contour that has become prevalent among many Chinese smartphones.

According to Redmi, the Turbo 5 Max is set to be the fastest phone in its category, boasting the largest battery. Previous rumors suggest it will be powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, which is expected to be unveiled on January 15.
