Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z foldables for 2026 have reportedly been listed in the GSMA IMEI database. The Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 were accompanied by a third mystery device.
According to the report, two devices with model numbers SM-F976U and SM-F776U have been registered, believed to correspond to the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8, respectively.

The model numbers end with the suffix “U,” typically indicating units intended for the US market, while global variants usually have a “B” suffix. The listings also show the market names Q8 and B8, further suggesting these devices belong to Samsung’s next-generation Galaxy Z lineup.
For context, the current Galaxy Z Fold7 is identified by the market name Q7, and the Z Flip7 bears the designation B7.

Additionally, a third device emerged in the database in early December last year, registered under the model number SM-F971U with the market name H8. This model is speculated to be the Galaxy Z Fold FE.
Based on Samsung's typical release cycle, the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 are expected to debut around July or August of 2026.
