It is among the first models to utilize the new LumaColor Image processing technology, which enhances natural skin tones, improves color accuracy, and mimics real-world lighting.

This device boasts a formidable 200MP main camera featuring a Samsung HP5 sensor (1/1.56 inches) and an f/1.8 aperture. The primary shooter supports full-pixel auto zoom with both 1x and 2x lossless zoom capabilities.
Powered by the LumaColor Image system, the Realme 16 Pro+ offers 21 exclusive customized tones, including five signature portrait styles—Lively, Vintage, Fresh, Neon, and Vivid. Additionally, it features HyperRAW, InstantSnap, and Anti-Distortion algorithms to enhance detail sharpness, stabilize dynamic shots, and mitigate edge distortion.

For close-up photography, the Realme 16 Pro+ is equipped with a 50MP periscope telephoto camera featuring Samsung’s JN5 sensor, which supports 3.5x optical zoom and an impressive 120x Super Zoom.

The third camera on the back is an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The device supports 4K HDR video recording at various focal lengths, including 1x, 2x, 3.5x, and 7x, as well as dual-focal 4K recording at 60fps for both 1x and 3.5x settings.

The 16 Pro series introduces Realme's new Urban Wild Design philosophy, masterminded by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The 16 Pro+ includes a bio-based organic silicone back cover composed of plant-based materials.

Under the hood, the Realme 16 Pro+ runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with options for 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and either 129GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, it boasts a vibrant 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. A 50MP selfie camera and an optical fingerprint scanner further enhance the device’s features.

The device is powered by a robust 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging and offers IP69 water and dust resistance. On the software front, it runs realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, with Realme promising three Android OS updates and four years of security patches.

The Realme 16 Pro+ is available in Master Gold, Master Grey, and the India-exclusive Camellia Pink. Pricing begins at INR 39,999 ($443) for the 8GB/128GB variant, INR 41,999 ($465) for the 8GB/256GB option, and INR 44,999 ($498) for the 12GB/256GB model. Pre-orders are currently open through Realme India, with shipments expected to commence on January 8.
