Realme officially unveiled its 16 Pro series in India today, marking the brand's first significant launch event of 2026. Alongside the 16 Pro+, the company introduced the standard 16 Pro, the Pad 3 tablet, and the Buds Air8 wireless earbuds.
Realme 16 Pro
The Realme 16 Pro shares several key specifications with the 16 Pro+, including a 200MP main camera (Samsung HP5) featuring Realme’s LumaColor Image processing technology. It also includes an 8MP ultrawide lens but lacks the dedicated telephoto lens present in the 16 Pro+.
Design and Display
The Realme 16 Pro sports the same Urban Wild Design as the Pro+, co-developed with designer Naoto Fukasawa. While it has a plastic frame compared to the aluminum design of its sibling, it still features IP69 ingress protection.
The device is fronted by a flat 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is capable of peak local brightness up to 1,400 nits and comes with a 50MP selfie camera alongside an optical fingerprint scanner.

The standard 16 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, with configurations of 8 or 12GB RAM and 128 or 256GB storage. It shares a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging capabilities with the Pro+ and runs on realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, with a commitment to three Android OS updates and four years of security patches.
The Realme 16 Pro comes in Master Gold, Pebble Grey, and the India-exclusive Orchid Purple, starting at INR 31,999 ($355) for the 8/128GB variant and going up to INR 36,999 ($410) for the 12/256GB option. Pre-orders are open on Realme India, with shipments expected on January 8.

The Realme Pad 3 is an 11.6-inch tablet running realme UI 7 based on Android 16. It features an IPS LCD with a resolution of 2,800 x 2,000 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, boasting a 7:5 aspect ratio.

Equipped with the same Dimensity 7300 Max chipset as the Realme 16 Pro, the Pad 3 is available with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for expansion. It is offered in both Wi-Fi only and 5G variants.
Realme Pad 3 Key Specifications
The device has a thickness of 6.6mm and weighs 578 grams. It features two 8MP cameras, one on the front and another on the back. Additionally, it is powered by a 12,200 mAh battery with 45W wired charging and 6.5W reverse wired charging capabilities.

Realme Buds Air8
The Buds Air8 is the latest addition to the Buds Air lineup, featuring dual drivers with 11mm dynamic drivers and 6mm tweeters. They connect via Bluetooth 5.4 and support SBC, AAC, and LHDC 5.0 codecs.
