The iQOO 15 was launched in China in October and then made its way to other markets in November. Recently, we learned that it will soon be joined by the iQOO 15 Ultra. According to the latest rumors, this new device will feature the largest active cooling fan ever seen in a smartphone.
Today, prominent Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station shared that we can expect the iQOO 15 Ultra to launch in early February.

This aligns with previous reports indicating the phone would arrive before the Chinese New Year, which falls on February 17. The brand has now confirmed that the phone will indeed launch prior to this holiday.
However, it remains uncertain whether iQOO plans to release the 15 Ultra outside of China. While we hope it will be available internationally, we have seen no confirmation regarding an overseas launch.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the iQOO 15 Ultra will share the same 6.85-inch 1440x3168 LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, just like the iQOO 15. Unlike its standard counterpart, the Ultra version will include the aforementioned active cooling fan and shoulder buttons, making it a more gaming-focused device.
