Smartphone users longing for the days of BlackBerry can now experience a revival with the Clicks Communicator.
Clicks, the company behind the Clicks Keyboard for iPhone, has announced the new Communicator smartphone ahead of CES 2026. It features a touch-sensitive physical keyboard combined with a 4.03-inch AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 1080 x 1200 pixels.

The smartphone operates on Android 16 and utilizes a customized Niagara Launcher, which provides access exclusively to messaging and productivity applications such as WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram, and Gmail.
It includes a notification light encircling a button on the right side, dubbed the Signal Light. Users can assign various colors and patterns for different apps or contacts.

This button can also be used for dictating messages via voice or for taking quick voice notes. As mentioned earlier, the touch-sensitive physical keyboard allows users to scroll through messages and web pages, as well as navigate the device's interface.

The Clicks Communicator is equipped with a 50MP rear camera featuring optical image stabilization and an LED flash, while a 24MP selfie camera is positioned at the front.

It houses a 4,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports Qi2 wireless charging and connects via a USB Type-C port. Additional features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM capabilities with 5G support, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and dual-band Wi-Fi 6. The device offers 256GB of internal storage, expandable via a MicroSD card.
Weighing 170g and measuring 12mm thick, the phone also features a physical kill switch on the frame, a customizable Clicks key for shortcuts, and a powerful 4nm MediaTek processor. The Communicator supports interchangeable back covers offered in various colors.

Set to ship later this year at a price of $499, early adopters can reserve the Clicks Communicator now for $399. It will be available in Clover, Onyx, and Smoke color options.
