The Pebble 2 Duo and Time 2 went up for pre-order in March, and today, they are joined by the Pebble Round 2. This latest addition comes from Core Devices, founded by Pebble creator Eric Migicovsky. The new watches leverage the open-sourced Pebble OS, now accessible thanks to Google.

The Pebble Round 2 features a 1.3-inch, 260x260, 64-color e-paper touchscreen, encased in a sleek stainless steel frame, and boasts an impressive two-week battery life. It is currently available for pre-order in matte black, brushed silver, and polished rose gold for $199, with shipping anticipated to begin in May.

The Pebble mobile app is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, offering basic health and activity tracking features, including step count and sleep monitoring, although it is not designed to function as a dedicated fitness or sports watch.

The Pebble Round 2 is equipped with 30m water resistance, a linear resonance actuator for enhanced vibrations, four buttons, an accelerometer, a magnetometer, dual microphones for voice commands and message replies, all in a slim 8.1mm profile.
