Oppo F35 Pro Receives Major ColorOS 17 Software Update

Oppo has officially begun rolling out its latest ColorOS 17 software update to the recently released Oppo F35 Pro. The update arrives as part of the third phase of the company's broader ColorOS 17 deployment across its device lineup.

Owners of F-series smartphones can look forward to an exclusive feature known as ColorOS Smoothness Boost. This new addition is designed to fine-tune system responsiveness, ensuring the phone maintains a fluid and consistent experience even after prolonged periods of use. It works alongside ColorOS 17's Laminar Flow engine, which targets smoother day-to-day performance.

The update also brings several security-focused enhancements. AI Call Guard is capable of warning users about potential scams that rely on synthetic voices or AI-generated faces during voice calls and video interactions. Additionally, the Private Computing Cloud (PCC) feature is designed to safeguard user data to such an extent that even Oppo itself cannot access it.

Launched just over a month ago, the Oppo F35 Pro sits firmly in the mid-range segment of the market. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 processor and packs a massive 8000mAh battery. In India, the handset carries a starting price of INR 45,999.
