Indian handset maker Lava has announced that its smartphones will become more expensive in India from November 15, 2026, with prices set to rise by as much as INR3,000.

The company attributed the price hike to ongoing memory shortages and is advising consumers who plan to purchase a smartphone to do so before the increase takes effect.

In an official statement, Lava said that the current industry environment and ongoing memory shortages have necessitated a price revision of up to INR3,000 across its smartphone portfolio, effective November 15, 2026. The company noted that its products are currently available at festive prices across leading e-commerce platforms and offline retail networks, and encouraged customers to take advantage of the ongoing offers before the revision comes into effect.

While Lava has confirmed the maximum increase, the company has not yet disclosed the exact price changes for individual smartphone models sold in India.
