Rumors about Honor's upcoming 700 series are pointing to a smartphone lineup focused on imaging, battery life, and a more creative camera experience. According to reports from Weibo tipsters, both the Honor 700 and Honor 700 Pro could support a 200mm teleconverter, extending the zoom range of the phones' periscope cameras.

Digital Chat Station says the series will feature a mid-size display with ultra-narrow bezels, a large battery, a built-in rear screen, a Snapdragon chipset, and a periscope telephoto camera. The tipster also suggested that the phones will be represented by a high-profile celebrity ambassador.

Another tipster, Smart Pikachu, says reservations for the Honor 700 series are nearing opening. The reported highlights include 100MP-class imaging, very long battery life, an ultra-narrow-bezel display, a "creative" rear screen, teleconverter support, a fashionable design, and Live Photos from both the front and rear cameras. Smart Pikachu also tagged Chinese actress Ju Jingyi in connection with a new brand ambassador, potentially matching the A-list celebrity mentioned by Digital Chat Station.

Honor 700 Pro

Earlier reports from Digital Chat Station described three models in the Honor 700 family. The engineering prototype of the Honor 700 Pro was said to include a 6.57-inch 1.5K display with ultra-narrow bezels on all four sides, a 1.72-inch rear screen, a 200MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and a battery of around 9,000 mAh, which would make it the largest in the lineup. The series may be offered in colors such as Cool White, Clear Sky, Blues, and Pink Mist.
