The iQOO Neo12 has officially landed in China as the newest gaming-focused flagship from the brand, headlined by a massive 9,000mAh battery, a fast 185Hz AMOLED display, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
iQOO’s latest Neo-series smartphone features an integrated active cooling fan. The custom 59-blade fan is said to improve airflow by around 10 percent, while a large 3D Ice Dome vapor chamber further enhances thermal efficiency.
On the front, the Neo12 sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel developed by Visionox. It uses p-TSF technology and delivers a 185Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution, and up to 2,200 nits of peak brightness. A dedicated display chip manages visual processing.
The phone also includes iQOO’s in-house Q3 gaming chip, which enables ray tracing in supported games, provides 2K resolution upscaling, and offers frame-rate interpolation for smoother visuals.
For photography, the iQOO Neo12 is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX921 main rear sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera. A 16MP front-facing sensor handles selfies.
Powering the device is a large 9,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. Additional features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, an infrared sensor, IP69 certification, and stereo speakers.
The iQOO Neo12 is available in Contender, Frost Blade Blue, and Shadow Black color options.
