Amazon has introduced a fresh wave of Alexa-enabled hardware, expanding its smart home portfolio with five new products: a redesigned Echo Show 16, an updated Echo Dot, the camera-equipped Echo Studio with Home Camera, the bedside-focused Echo Time, and the Alexa Photo Frame. Each device is built around the latest Alexa+ experience, which Amazon says delivers more natural dialogue, follow-up questions, and the ability to manage complicated multi-part tasks. Prime members can use Alexa+ at no additional cost.

The headline release is the Echo Show 16, which upgrades from the Echo Show 15 with a 16-inch Full HD display offering 10% more viewing space. Its anodized aluminum chassis is almost 40% thinner, and buyers can choose an optional Nanomatte panel using anti-glare technology found on the Alexa Tablet 12 Pro to reduce glare by over 90%. Amazon includes eight micro woofers and two tweeters for sound, plus a 13MP wide-angle camera with automatic framing and, for the first time in the Echo Show line, night vision.

Amazon also claims 20% faster computing performance and bundles the full Fire TV experience, including a physical remote. Three new Screen Styles let users turn the display into a family hub, a smart home control panel featuring the new Alexa Home Map, or a photo showcase. Preorders are open at $499.99, or $569.99 with the Nanomatte display, with shipments expected later this year. Early orders receive $100 off.

At the smaller end of the lineup, the new Echo Dot becomes the first model to use Amazon's AZ3 chip with an AI Accelerator. It adds a fourth microphone, an integrated smart home hub supporting Zigbee, Matter, and Thread, and an internal eero Wi-Fi extender rated for up to 1,000 additional square feet of coverage. Amazon also promises 50% stronger bass than the previous Echo Dot. It is available now for $99.99 in Graphite, Glacier White, Agave Green, and Coral Pink. The Amazon Kids Echo Dot costs $109.99, comes in Octopus and Penguin styles, and includes one year of Kids+.

The Echo Studio with Home Camera retains the audio hardware of last year's Echo Studio, including a 3.75-inch high-excursion woofer, three full-range drivers, and Dolby Atmos support, but adds a 13MP camera. Amazon says the camera gives Alexa+ visual intelligence for tasks such as identifying a board game box, helping reorder a cereal box, or checking on a room through Live View in the Alexa app. The speaker can soon be paired with compatible Fire TV devices for large-screen video calls. It is priced at $249.99, while the standard Echo Studio remains available for $219.99.

For the bedroom, Amazon unveiled the Echo Time, a smart alarm clock with a 3.2-inch circular touchscreen and no camera. It offers numerous clock faces and an optional smart alarm based on Amazon's Omnisense technology, including ultrasound-based breathing detection, to wake users during lighter sleep within 10 to 60 minutes of their chosen alarm time. The display can also brighten gradually like a sunrise. Echo Time is available now for $199.99 in Graphite, Glacier White, and Coral Pink. The Amazon Kids Echo Time starts at $209.99 in Galactic Grape and Cosmic Lime.

Rounding out the launch is the Alexa Photo Frame, which Amazon describes as its first photo frame with Alexa built in. The device features a 10.1-inch semi-matte anti-glare touchscreen and connects to Amazon Photos. Alexa+ can select better images to display while filtering out screenshots and receipts. Users can request pictures by person or trip and attach voice notes to memories. It starts at $199.99 in Black, or $229 with a Birch or Walnut wood frame, and includes 90 days of Alexa+.
