Galaxy S27 Case Leak Points to Bold New Camera Design for Pro and Ultra Models

Samsung’s Galaxy S27 series could introduce a noticeable design shift within the lineup, according to newly leaked case images. Shared by tipster IceUniverse, the alleged cases cover all four expected models — Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra — and suggest that Samsung may reserve its most dramatic rear design changes for the higher-end devices.

The leaked accessories indicate that the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra will use a large rectangular camera cutout that stretches close to the full width of the rear panel. Meanwhile, the standard Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ appear to keep a more familiar vertical camera layout, similar to recent generations.

The camera hardware is also rumored to receive a meaningful upgrade on the premium models. Both the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are expected to feature 200MP main cameras, likely based on Samsung’s ISOCELL HP6 sensor, along with 50MP ultrawide cameras. The Ultra is said to retain a 50MP 5x telephoto camera comparable to the one expected on the S26 Ultra, while the Pro may use a simpler 12MP 3x telephoto module.

If these case designs are accurate, the new look for the Pro and Ultra models may signal Samsung’s next long-term design direction for its flagship series. The Galaxy S27 lineup is rumored to launch in the first quarter of 2027, potentially between mid-January and late February.
