Realme appears to be preparing a new entry-level smartphone, and details have now surfaced ahead of time. The upcoming Realme C01, identified by model number RMX5399, was recently seen on certification platforms in Malaysia and the UAE. Now, an early retail listing from Vietnam has exposed the phone’s official specifications, images, and pricing before its formal release.

According to the leaked listing, the Realme C01 will feature a large 6.8-inch LCD display with a 720x1520 resolution. The screen is said to support a 120Hz refresh rate, reach up to 900 nits of peak brightness, and use Panda Glass protection. Inside, the handset is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Users will also be able to expand storage via a microSD card.

For photography, the phone reportedly carries a single 8MP rear camera capable of recording 1080p video, while a 5MP front-facing camera is included for selfies and video calls. One of its key highlights is the 6,500mAh battery, which should offer long usage time for a budget device. Charging support is listed at 15W wired, and the device runs Android 16.

Connectivity and other features include 4G support, dual Nano-SIM slots, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The listing also mentions a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IP64 rating, meaning the phone should have some protection against dust and water splashes.

In Vietnam, the Realme C01 is listed in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration, priced at VND 5,990,000, which is roughly $228. Color options are reported to include black, grey, and orange. Notably, the same RMX5399 model number has been linked to the Realme C100i recently launched in India. Since the specifications closely match, the Realme C01 appears likely to be a rebranded version of that device for other markets.
