Apple is preparing for another major hardware announcement later this month, with expectations centered on the next generation of MacBook Pro laptops. The upcoming event follows a busy October for the company, which has already introduced several new smart home and entertainment products.

Apple has confirmed that its next special event will take place on October 28. Alongside the announcement, the company is also planning a special Apple Experience session in Los Angeles for invited guests and members of the media.

Invitations for the event have reportedly been sent to press and media figures, including well-known YouTuber Marques Brownlee. The invite uses the tagline “Pro and tell,” a clear signal that Apple may focus on its Pro-branded products.

Apple executive Greg Joswiak also acknowledged the event on X, further confirming that an announcement is approaching. The wording of the tagline has fueled speculation that refreshed MacBook Pro models will be the centerpiece of the presentation.

According to reports from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple could introduce several new devices at the event. These may include a touchscreen MacBook Pro, a 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by the upcoming M6 chipset, an updated iMac, and an iPad mini featuring an OLED display.

With the event only days away, attention is turning to how Apple will position its next wave of professional-grade hardware, especially if touchscreen Mac technology finally makes its debut.
