Oppo Reno17 India Rumor Says Reno17 and Reno17c Will Launch While Pro May Skip

A new rumor offers an early look at which Oppo Reno17 smartphones may reach India, suggesting that the lineup will not be complete. According to a tipster on X, the Reno17 and Reno17c are expected to launch in the country, while the higher-end Reno17 Pro could be held back.

The report claims the Reno17 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the Reno17c will use the MediaTek Dimensity 7300. These are the same processors used by the Reno16 and Reno16c, and the tipster has previously suggested that the Reno17 family will carry over many specifications from the earlier generation.

Meanwhile, the Reno17 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.32-inch 1.5K flat OLED display with a high refresh rate, MediaTek’s Dimensity 8550 chipset, a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, a 50MP telephoto lens, a 50MP front camera, and a large 7,000mAh battery. Additional details include a metal frame, IP69 protection, and roughly 80W wired charging.

The tipster says the Reno17 Pro will not come to India because of its price, echoing the Reno16 Pro’s absence from the Indian market. Past rumors point to a China debut in November with ColorOS 17 based on Android 17, followed by an Indian arrival around early January.
