MediaTek has expanded its flagship chipset lineup with the introduction of the Dimensity 9600M. Following the announcement of the Dimensity 9600 Pro earlier this week, the 9600M aims to deliver advanced software and AI functionalities to a wider array of flagship smartphones. This new SoC is targeted at enhancing multimedia and processing capabilities in devices while retaining a competitive edge in the fast-evolving smartphone market.
On a hardware front, the Dimensity 9600M is fundamentally a reimagined version of the Dimensity 9500, crafted using TSMC's innovative 3nm N3P fabrication process. It features an all-large-core CPU configuration, boasting a maximum frequency of 4.21GHz for the C1-Ultra core, along with the same Arm Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU and APU 990 NPU as its predecessor.
