Samsung is advancing its audio technology portfolio with the anticipated release of the Galaxy Buds On, a pair of open-ear clip-on wireless earbuds. Recent leaks, including detailed renders, offer an intriguing look at their design and features, suggesting smart functionalities tailored for user convenience.

The Galaxy Buds On showcase a unique two-part design, with one component featuring the speaker while the other rests behind the ear. These two parts are connected by a flexible silicone loop. Notably, pogo-pin connectors are visible, ensuring that the earbuds can be easily charged within their case.

Initial leaks suggest that the Galaxy Buds On will be available in black, with a white color variant also confirmed. Users can expect a suite of features, including automatic volume control that adjusts depending on the surrounding environment, as well as a volume boost option for enhanced listening experiences.

Gesture controls are another exciting addition, allowing users to initiate voice recording and engage with Galaxy AI through simple head nods and quick actions. While there was speculation regarding their launch alongside the Galaxy S26 FE, it appears the Galaxy Buds On are now slated for a release in Q4 2026.
