Fairphone is set to elevate your audio experience with the upcoming release of the Fairbuds 2, the next iteration of their true wireless earbuds. Following the debut of the original Fairbuds in April 2024, the company has teased the arrival of the Fairbuds 2, which are expected to launch in the fourth quarter of this year, specifically between October and December.
A recent leak has revealed images of the new earbuds available in two stylish colors: green and black.

Notably, the Fairbuds 2 feature stems, a design change from the no-stem look of their predecessors. Additionally, the charging case appears to be thicker, leading to speculation that Fairphone may have increased the battery capacity beyond the original 500mAh.
While detailed specifications and pricing have yet to be unveiled, it is anticipated that the Fairbuds 2 will maintain Fairphone's commitment to sustainability with individually replaceable components. The original Fairbuds allowed users to easily replace batteries, silicone rings, tips, and even the outer case shell using just a Phillips screwdriver and a prying tool.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Fairbuds 2 as we approach the release date!
