vivo has officially announced the launch of the T5 5G, expanding its T5 series after the T5 4G debut in May. Aimed at young professionals and tech enthusiasts, the T5 5G promises an exquisite combination of high performance, premium aesthetics, and impressive battery life.
Under the hood, the vivo T5 5G is driven by the advanced Dimensity 7500 Turbo SoC, complemented by up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Users can choose from a maximum of 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and it operates on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 right out of the box. For long-term usability, vivo has committed to providing three major Android OS upgrades and five years of security patches.
The smartphone features a striking 6.83-inch 3D Curved AMOLED display that boasts a resolution of 2,800x1,260 pixels, a blazing 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The display integrates a punch-hole design for a 32MP selfie camera and includes an under-display fingerprint scanner for secure access.
On the back, the Skyline Camera Module is equipped with a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX882 with OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide sensor, both capable of recording 4K video at 30FPS.
Powering the device is a colossal 7,050 mAh battery with fast charging support of 44W. Additional features include dual stereo speakers, a robust 3,800 mm² VC cooling system, and an impressive dual rating of IP68 and IP69, making it resistant to water and dust. The T5 5G also supports wet touch, allowing functionality even in humid conditions.
The vivo T5 5G is available in two striking colors: Royal Bronze and Silver Green. The different memory configurations include 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB, with prices set at INR34,999, INR39,999, INR44,999, and INR49,999 respectively. Sales in India will commence on September 9 through vivo’s official website, Flipkart, and various retail partners.
