As Apple gears up for its highly anticipated launch event on September 9, rumors surrounding the first foldable iPhone, speculated to be named the iPhone Ultra, are swirling. This innovative device is expected to bring exciting new features, including a unique design and advanced charging capabilities. Recent insights from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman shed light on the potential specifications and pricing of this groundbreaking smartphone.
In an interview with Tom’s Guide, Gurman shared that the iPhone Ultra is likely to support MagSafe charging, even though initial leaked images and dummy models have not prominently displayed the characteristic magnetic ring associated with the feature.

Gurman is optimistic that Apple will successfully integrate MagSafe technology into the iPhone Ultra, similar to what the company achieved with the slim iPhone Air. Notably, the foldable device’s thickness is rumored to be just 4.5mm when opened.
The iPhone Ultra is also expected to boast a 5.5-inch cover display alongside a 7.8-inch flexible inner display, with a crease that is reportedly less visible than that found on competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8.
Additional rumored specifications include a dual-rear camera system, the latest Apple chipset and modem, and a robust hinge designed for durability.
