vivo is gearing up for an exciting product launch this September as it officially announces the arrival of its X500 series. This new mobile lineup will replace the existing X300 series and will consist of several models, including the vivo X500, X500 Pro, and the premium X500 Pro Max.
Recently, vivo's Product Manager Han Boxiao shared a sneak peek on Weibo, highlighting some cutting-edge features that are expected to set this series apart. Anticipation is building around the X500 series, particularly for its cinema-grade video recording capabilities.
A standout feature of the X500 Pro models is the “ZEISS Ultra Dynamic Main Camera,” designed around a custom Phantom 900 sensor, developed in collaboration with Sony and vivo’s dedicated imaging team. This innovative sensor is claimed to deliver a remarkable 17EV dynamic range, enabling stunning 4K 240fps slow-motion and 4K 120fps HDR video recording.
In addition, the flagship vivo X500 Pro Max is reported to include impressive optical image stabilization technology, boasting 3° stabilization and CIPA 7.0 professional-grade stabilization to enhance shooting experiences.
Apart from the upgraded video features, the new X500 series is expected to bring substantial enhancements to photography capabilities, overall performance, operating system, and display quality. As the launch date approaches, more detailed information is expected from vivo.
