Introduction

RayNeo, a leading player in the augmented reality (AR) smart glasses market, has made headlines with its recent launch of two innovative product lines: the iO Smart Glasses and the multimedia-focused GT series. Designed to cater to distinct usage scenarios, the iO glasses aim to enhance productivity with their “glanceable” ambient intelligence capabilities, whereas the GT series is engineered for an immersive entertainment experience. With a growing market share, RayNeo is poised to redefine how we interact with digital content in our daily lives.

RayNeo iO Smart Glasses

The RayNeo iO Smart Glasses are crafted for comfort and everyday use, weighing just 33g and featuring a balanced design that distributes weight evenly. Constructed from AZ91D magnesium-aluminum alloy and aerospace-grade titanium, the glasses ensure both durability and style.

Equipped with a monochrome (green) waveguide display powered by the Firefly Nano Engine, the iO glasses offer unmatched transparency at 97%, ensuring that displayed information remains discreet. The display can reach brightness levels of up to 1,300 nits, making it suitable for use as a teleprompter or for real-time translation in 55 languages, featuring fast processing with approximately one second latency.

The glasses are also integrated with a 4-mic array that enables effective voice recognition, aided by bone conduction technology. This allows clear audio capture in noisy settings, perfect for voice dictation. Additionally, the low-power Ambient AI Life Log feature is designed to enhance your productivity by managing schedules and capturing conversational contexts.

With a battery capacity of 240mAh, the iO Smart Glasses promise up to two days of regular use on a single charge, supporting audio recording for 18 hours or continuous translation for 6.2 hours. They come equipped with a built-in LED indicator to inform others when recording or translating is in progress.

Users can engage with the interface through basic motion gestures or utilize the Smart Crown rotary dial, though it's worth noting that these glasses employ a text-only user interface without speakers.

RayNeo GT Series Glasses

Introducing the RayNeo GT and GT Max glasses, designed for immersive multimedia experiences, both utilize full-color microOLED displays complemented by quad speakers that have been tuned by Bang & Olufsen for a rich audio experience.

The RayNeo GT creates a virtual display that expands to an expansive 231 inches, featuring a 46° field of view, while the GT Max enhances this with adjustable display sizes of 227”, 267”, and 307”, offering an impressive 59° field of view. Although slightly heavier at 78g and 68g respectively, both models prioritize immersive viewing.

Both GT models are equipped with 3DoF tracking technology, allowing for three operational modes: Follow Mode (fixed display in your field of vision), Pinned Mode (display fixed in 3D space), and Steady Mode (offers image stabilization during movement).

Notably, the GT Max glasses are the first of their kind to support Dolby Vision content through the innovative RayNeo Pocket TV Pro device, which acts as a standalone media player. The Pocket TV Pro comes with an Amlogic S905X5M-J chipset, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage, alongside a microSD slot for expanded media capacity.
