The WH-1000XM4C is expected to introduce Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, offering a notable upgrade over its predecessor's Bluetooth 5.0. However, it is rumored that this new model may come with a slight decrease in battery life—reducing from 30 hours with active noise cancellation (ANC) enabled to 27 hours, and from 38 hours without ANC down to 34 hours. The relationship between the new Bluetooth version and battery performance remains unclear.
In terms of aesthetics, the WH-1000XM4C may be available in a variety of colors, though it’s worth noting that the NFC logo has been omitted from the left earcup. Functionally, these headphones are expected to remain largely consistent with the WH-1000XM4 model. Pricing speculation suggests a competitive market entry point of €249.99 in Europe and £219.99 in the UK. Positioned as a budget-friendly alternative to the WH-1000XM6, the WH-1000XM4C is anticipated to retain excellent ANC capabilities.
