The anticipation surrounding Honor's latest smartphone, the Power3, has been rife since the launch of its predecessor, the Power2, in January. Initially, there were murmurs suggesting that the upcoming device could boast a colossal battery capacity ranging from 11,000 to 12,000 mAh. However, recent insights hint that such expectations may be overly optimistic, compelling enthusiasts to temper their hopes.
According to the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Honor Power3 is now projected to feature a battery with a minimum capacity of 10,000 mAh. This figure is comparable to the Power2's robust 10,080 mAh battery, suggesting that while the Power3 may meet or slightly exceed this capacity, the ambitious target of reaching 11,000 mAh or 12,000 mAh seems to be out of reach.

In addition to the battery updates, there are reports indicating that the Power3 will sport a larger 7-inch display, an increase from the Power2's 6.79-inch screen. As is typical for this series, the new model is expected to feature a flat display. Internally, the Power3 will likely be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8-series chipset, just like its predecessor, which currently runs on the Dimensity 8500 Elite. It remains to be clarified whether the Power3 will utilize the same SoC or an anticipated Dimensity 8600 variant.
