Honor recently introduced the Power2 earlier this year, and speculation about its successor, the Power3, has swirled since. Initial reports suggested an ambitious battery capacity range between 11,000 to 12,000 mAh. However, new insights have surfaced that suggest this target may have been overly optimistic, leaving fans and potential buyers with tempered expectations.
According to a recent leak from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Honor Power3 is now expected to feature a battery capacity of at least 10,000 mAh. This is a slight upgrade from the Power2's already impressive 10,080 mAh battery. Though the statement indicates that the successor may stay competitive with its predecessor, the dream of reaching closer to 12,000 mAh seems to have been dialed back significantly.

Additionally, the display on the Honor Power3 is set to grow to 7 inches, expanding from the 6.79-inch screen of the Power2. While the design will maintain a flat display, the device is expected to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8-series chipset, similar to its predecessor that houses the Dimensity 8500 Elite. Whether the Power3 will stick with this existing SoC or upgrade to a new Dimensity 8600 variant is still a mystery.
