Today, Samsung unveiled its Health Assistant, touted as the "first fully integrated AI-powered personal health assistant." Currently, it is available in beta for eligible users of Samsung Health in the United States.
Samsung claims that the Health Assistant will aid users in achieving their health and wellness goals by integrating essential health data with insights, empowering users to ask questions about their health and receive rich, personalized guidance and recommendations.

The Health Assistant connects health information from Samsung Health's "five pillars of wellness"—sleep, activity, nutrition, mindfulness, and vitals—and transforms this data into meaningful, actionable insights. It explains how each variable impacts the others.
Additionally, it will identify patterns and signals that users may otherwise overlook, providing high-quality recommendations validated by a team of physicians and certified health coaches.
In the future, the Health Assistant plans to explore coaching to help users achieve their goals through behavior change, alongside a broader range of services available in Samsung Health, such as weight management. Moreover, it will utilize the Personal Data Engine to offer highly personalized responses that consider the user's schedule and preferences.
Dr. Hon Pak, Senior Vice President and Head of Samsung's Digital Health team, emphasized:
"Our new Health Assistant advances Samsung’s vision for Connected Care by providing users with a deeper understanding of their mind and body through daily health monitoring, and enhancing opportunities for early detection. By leveraging our ecosystem and partnerships, we aim to deliver a holistic understanding of health and drive real action, helping users build healthier habits and effect meaningful change in their lives."
