AT&T is set to implement another price increase. Beginning August 16, customers with copper and fiber internet plans activated between June 2024 and July 2025 will experience a monthly bill increase of $5. This adjustment will also affect users of the $15 per month Copper Plan, which offers speeds of up to 50Mbps and was grandfathered in this May.
This information has been confirmed through a leaked internal document. Employees have been instructed to inform affected customers that "AT&T is making a small adjustment to your monthly internet rate" to "maintain the high-quality service you deserve."
According to AT&T, third-party data indicates that its Wireless and Fiber customers "experience the fastest converged speeds in the nation." If you are impacted by the upcoming price increase, you should have already received a notification from the company via the News You Can Use section of the AT&T app and your online account.
