OnePlus has announced its withdrawal from the European and North American markets. In a separate statement, the company confirmed that it will continue its operations in India.
In the European and North American regions, OnePlus will cease new product releases. Nevertheless, existing devices will still receive software updates and security patches according to their established schedules. Customer support channels will remain operational to address warranty and service claims.
The North American Community website and app are set to shut down on August 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET. On the other hand, the European Community and its stores will continue to operate for the time being.
Regarding the Indian market, OnePlus has committed to maintaining regular operations, with more product launches planned, including the upcoming OnePlus N6x.
Additionally, OnePlus confirmed that all eligible existing devices will transition from OxygenOS to ColorOS with the upcoming Android 17 update across all regions.
This announcement follows weeks of speculation regarding the potential discontinuation of the brand in Western markets. Recently, Bloomberg reported allegations that OnePlus's operations in India may also cease in 2027, leaving only its Chinese operations intact.
