Last month, Asus made a comeback in the Android tablet market by announcing the 12.2-inch Asus Pad. The company has now confirmed that this device will be available in India, launching on August 6 at 12:00 noon local time. Pricing details have not yet been disclosed.
The Asus Pad features an OLED screen with a resolution of 2800x1840, a refresh rate of 144Hz, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Audio quality is enhanced with four speakers that support Dolby Atmos 360. The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC, complemented by 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, which are both expandable via UFS 3.1.
On the rear, the tablet sports a 13MP camera with an LED flash, while a 5MP camera is located on the front. It is equipped with a robust 9,000 mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. The Asus Pad measures 271.1 x 182.4 x 6.5 mm and weighs 523g, and it will come with a case included in the packaging. The device runs on Android 16 and will be available in Pure White only.
