Accessing the internals of the Redmi Note 17 Pro starts with removing the rear cover, which is constructed from plastic. The interior of this cover features a protective layer of foam designed to guard against water and dust ingress.
Located to the right of the camera setup is the NFC coil, while heat dissipation is managed by a film connecting the battery to the motherboard. The main camera is equipped with a Samsung ISOCELL JN5 1/2.76" sensor, and the selfie camera utilizes the OmniVision OV08F 1/4" sensor.
The device is outfitted with LPDDR4X RAM and storage fabricated by Samsung using UFS 4.0 technology. However, due to the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset's constraints, the storage operates at UFS 3.1 speeds at best. Additionally, there is a light sensor, and the proximity sensor is ultrasonic. When set to high brightness mode, it peaks at 1,100 nits, while at 10% coverage, peak brightness exceeds 3,500 nits, and at 1%, it even surpasses 3,800 nits.
Under the screen, there is a 4,700 square millimeter stainless steel vapor chamber. The outer frame of the device is plastic, while the internal frame is constructed from HZH5.9 alloy, offering a 30% increase in rigidity compared to its predecessor.
