The Insta360 X6 seems poised for an official launch. Ahead of this event, WinFuture's Roland Quandt has unveiled the action camera's marketing images, essential specifications, and projected pricing in Europe.
Recent leaks indicate that the Insta360 X6 will feature a notably more compact design while maintaining an overall appearance similar to the Insta360 X5.
Like its predecessor, the camera houses a fisheye lens on both the front and back. The display is now positioned directly beneath the rear camera, while the power and record buttons, along with the battery compartment, are located on the side.
Additionally, one of the marketing images verifies that the camera will support 8K video recording at 50fps, an upgrade from the 8K 30fps offered by the Insta360 X5. However, this more compact design raises questions regarding battery capacity and its potential impact on battery life.
The leaked report indicates that the Insta360 X6 will be available starting at €689 for the standard variant, while the Essentials Bundle is expected to retail for approximately €789.
