OnePlus has announced its departure from the European and North American markets. In a separate announcement, the company confirmed that its operations in India will continue.
For the European and North American markets, OnePlus will cease the release of new products. However, existing devices will continue to receive software updates and security patches as scheduled. Customer service channels will remain available to honor warranty and support claims.
The North American Community website and app will be shut down on August 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET. Meanwhile, the European Community and stores will remain open for the time being.
Regarding the Indian market, OnePlus has indicated that it will continue its regular operations, with more product launches anticipated, including the upcoming OnePlus N6x.
OnePlus also confirmed that all eligible devices will transition from OxygenOS to ColorOS with the Android 17 update across all regions.
This announcement follows weeks of speculation regarding the brand's exit from western markets. Recently, Bloomberg reported claims that OnePlus's Indian operations might also conclude in 2027, with only its China operations remaining.
