After its initial launch in Korea and the US, Samsung's Galaxy XR headset is now available in the UK through Samsung’s online store, having been available for pre-order since mid-June.
Retailing at £1,699, customers who purchase the headset during a limited-time promotion (specific duration not mentioned in the press release) will receive an "Explorer Pack" valued at £665.
The Explorer Pack includes one year of subscriptions to Google AI Pro, YouTube Premium, Google Play Pass, Calm Premium, Project Pulsar by Adobe, NFL PRO ERA, and the Asteroid immersive experience.
The Galaxy XR features up to 2.5 hours of battery life, powered by the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chipset, and is equipped with stunning 4K Micro-OLED screens. Additionally, the Galaxy XR Travel Case and Galaxy XR Controllers are available for £249 each, with a limited-time 30% discount until September 30.
From now until August 4, customers can also enjoy a 10% discount on the headset when purchasing alongside any Galaxy smartphone. Furthermore, a 10% discount is available on any Galaxy Watch or Buds when purchased together with the Galaxy XR until September 30.
