Following the announcement of the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22, Samsung has commenced reservations for the much-anticipated Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 series. Customers can register now and make a final purchase decision once the devices are officially released.
This year, Samsung's pre-sale offerings are more modest compared to previous years. Those who reserve will receive a $30 credit that can be applied towards accessories and other products in Samsung's official store. However, this credit will only be available at checkout when purchasing the new foldable smartphones. For context, last year's reservation incentive was $50.
While Samsung promotes potential savings of up to $1,230, this figure includes eligible trade-in programs and additional promotions that can significantly vary based on the device being traded in and the specifics of the purchase.
Last year’s lottery featured a single $5,000 gift card winner from Samsung.com, but this year the company is offering ten winners a $500 gift card each as part of its promotional activities.
Reservations are currently open and will remain available until pre-orders officially begin on July 22.
