Lenovo Unveils Legion Y700 Ultimate Gaming Tablet: A Closer Look

Source: Date:

Earlier this month, Lenovo began teasing its new Legion gaming tablet featuring 5G support, with a full announcement expected in August.

Today, the company showcased the device in a video. It appears to be named the Legion Y700 Ultimate, although this translation from Chinese may not be entirely accurate.

The tablet is equipped with a physical SIM slot along with eSIM capabilities, enabling dual-SIM dual-standby functionality. The design has seen slight modifications compared to the Y700 (Gen 5), which was launched in March without 5G connectivity. The Y700 Ultimate's antenna configuration ensures stable connectivity, regardless of how the tablet is held.

Unfortunately, Lenovo has yet to disclose additional specifications, leaving us uncertain if this new model will continue to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset like the Y700 (Gen 5). The dimensions appear similar, and the video highlights its portability. For context, the Y700 (Gen 5) features an 8.8-inch display with a resolution of 1904x3040. Lenovo promises to share more details about the upcoming tablet soon, so stay tuned for updates.
