After its launch in Korea and the US, Samsung's Galaxy XR headset is now available in the UK through the Samsung online store. Pre-orders began in mid-June.
The headset is priced at a recommended retail price of £1,699. For a limited time, buyers will receive an "Explorer Pack" valued at £665, although the duration of this offer is not specified in the official press release.
The Explorer Pack includes a one-year subscription to Google AI Pro, YouTube Premium, Google Play Pass, Calm Premium, Project Pulsar by Adobe, NFL PRO ERA, and the Asteroid immersive experience.
With up to 2.5 hours of battery life, the Galaxy XR is powered by the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chipset and features 4K Micro-OLED displays. The Galaxy XR Travel Case and Galaxy XR Controllers are available for £249 each but are currently offered at a 30% discount until September 30.
Additionally, customers can enjoy a 10% discount on the headset when purchasing it alongside any Galaxy smartphone until August 4. A 10% discount is also available for any Galaxy Watch or Buds bought together with the Galaxy XR until September 30.
