In May, Huawei debuted the MateBook Fold, a laptop featuring a foldable display. The company is currently developing its successor, which is expected to be a minor refresh set to launch in the latter half of this year.
A recent leak from Digital Chat Station on Weibo reveals that the new MateBook Fold will be available in Streaming Gold, Sky White, and Phantom Black. It will come in three RAM/storage configurations: 24GB/512GB, 24GB/1TB, and 32GB/2TB.

Reports suggest it will be powered by a Kirin X9 series chipset. Notably, Huawei appears to be concentrating on cost reduction for this iteration. However, it remains unclear if this will result in a lower price point compared to the original model, as the strategy may simply aim to mitigate the increased costs associated with the higher RAM and storage options.
