According to a recent report from Korea, Samsung is set to venture into a new market with the development of an AI accelerator chip for personal computers. This chip, codenamed Gaia, is manufactured using a 4nm process.

Gaia features an optimized NPU architecture designed for enhanced AI computing efficiency on PCs. Samsung has reportedly provided prototypes of this chip to several unnamed "major clients" and aims to commence mass production next year.
