Nubia has announced the upcoming debut of what it claims to be the world's first AI agent smartphone, slated for unveiling in the coming weeks. This new device is anticipated to succeed the company’s M153 model and incorporate the Doubao AI system along with a system-level AI agent.
In a recent post on its official Weibo account, Nubia confirmed that the AI agent smartphone will be launched at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), taking place in Shanghai, China, from July 17 to July 20.

Although Nubia has not disclosed specific details about the forthcoming device, a reliable tipster suggests it may serve as the successor to the Nubia M153 AI smartphone, unveiled in China earlier this year. The M153 originally featured the Doubao AI assistant developed by ByteDance.
The tipster further indicates that the upcoming Nubia smartphone will boast "deep system-level AI integration" and offer support for "autonomous cross-platform operation."

The Nubia M153 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Additional details regarding the specifications and availability of Nubia's AI agent smartphone are expected to emerge during WAIC 2023.
