Last week, Redmi confirmed that its new Note 17 lineup would debut in China this month. The company has now announced the official launch date while revealing the devices' design and key features.
The Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro are set to launch in China on July 14. According to the official teaser images, the standard model will feature a single rear camera housed within a squarish camera module.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro, on the other hand, appears to feature a dual rear camera setup with a similar camera island.
The teaser also showcases the handset in a new "Clear Blue" colorway. Additionally, Redmi has confirmed that the Pro model will come equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance.

A recent leak has also unveiled the key specifications for both models. The Redmi Note 17 is expected to feature a 6.83-inch display, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, a 9,000mAh battery, and a 50MP primary rear camera.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro is anticipated to share similar core specifications but will include a 200MP primary rear camera. Further details, including pricing and availability, will be announced at the launch event next week.
