The vivo V70 was introduced earlier this year, and a recent leak indicates that the vivo V80 lineup may launch as early as next month. The leak also provides insights into the key specifications of one of the upcoming models.
According to a source on X, the vivo V80 series is expected to be unveiled in mid-August. The standard vivo V80 is rumored to feature a 6.59-inch flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution.
vivo V70This model is anticipated to retain the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset from its predecessor but will come with a larger 7,200mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging.
In terms of photography, the vivo V80 is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultrawide shooter, mirroring the configuration found in the vivo V70. Additionally, a 50MP front-facing camera is also rumored.
Other speculated features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, an aluminum alloy frame, and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
