Yesterday, Apple increased the prices of nearly all its products, excluding iPhones, with the MacBook Neo seeing a $100 increase in the US.
Today, Apple has introduced the MacBook Neo in its refurbished store, with the entry-level model featuring 256GB of storage and no Touch ID now priced at $599. This reflects the price of the new laptop before the recent price hike, allowing customers to purchase a refurbished model at the same cost.

If you prefer the model with 512GB of storage and Touch ID, it is available for $679—$20 less than the new variant's previous price before the hike. In contrast, the new version of this configuration now costs $799.
Choosing the refurbished option offers a small savings, and, as is standard with Apple's officially refurbished products, it comes with a one-year warranty, similar to new devices. Apple ensures that each refurbished unit "undergoes full functionality testing, and any defective parts are replaced." The refurbishment process includes detailed cleaning and inspection, and the laptop is neatly repackaged. Additionally, buyers will find a USB-C cable and a 20W power adapter included in the box.
