We have the Oppo Enco Air5 and Air5s in our office for unboxing. Let's start with the Air5. This in-ear bud features active noise cancellation and is positioned just below the Air5 Pro, yet both models are equipped with the same 12mm dynamic driver and triple microphones.
The Air5 is available in two colors: Glossy White and Midnight Black, and comes with three sets of silicone eartips.

Upon examining the specifications of the new Enco Air5 compared to the outgoing Enco Air5 Pro, differences are minimal. The primary distinction is that the Pro model supports LHDC 5.0. While the Air5 incorporates finger taps for play/pause and ANC control, it lacks the sliding volume control found on both the Enco Air5 Pro and Air5s.
The Air5 boasts the same 12mm dynamic driver, offers up to 54 hours of battery life with its 530mAh case (plus an additional 62mAh per bud), and delivers 53dB of noise cancellation.

Comfort-wise, the Enco Air5 fits well in the ear. While in-ear buds may not appeal to everyone, this editor finds them satisfactory. However, it is disappointing that the Air5 lacks sliding gesture support, which is a beneficial feature of both the Enco Air5 Pro and Enco Air5s.
This sliding control makes adjusting volume convenient, and it becomes an essential feature once experienced.
In terms of sound quality, the Air5 delivers impressive performance with ample volume and strong treble and mids. However, it may lack some bass right out of the box. That said, the active noise cancellation is notably effective.
